PR Card Renewal

Permanent Resident Card is an identification and travel document for permanent residents of Canada. The card is valid for 5 years and will be issued after the resident landing in Canada. To renew the permanent resident card, the applicant must have lived in Canada for at least 2 years (730 days). The applicants who are out of Canada on the expiration date of their permanent resident card must take some steps to return to Canada and may apply for permanent resident card renewal after returning to Canada.
